Policy on Modifications

SoEasyAccounting services over 200 different business classifications in three different Countries.
To achieve this there are over 7 Entry Level Versions, 10 Specialist Modules, 5 primary Plug-ins and many 100's of features and functions built over a period of 16 years.
The range grows at the rate of approximately 5 new features per day and we constantly receive requests for additional modifications.

In addition to this we have 4 major projects per year, one core theme, and many new developer Plug-ins being released on a regular basis.

This is the software industry. It is forever changing and there are always new ideas and new requirements.

Sometimes a feature that a client enjoyed in their previous product is not within SoEasyAccounting.
Their first reaction is that it should be in the product. This can become an issue so to resolve such a case and to keep up with the demand we have formed a policy on modifications:

Modification Policy

Any user may place a modification request with support.

Modifications are classified in four ways:

Grade	Classification	Description
Grade 1	Critical requiring immediate attention	This classification is given to issues that stop the functionality of the system and may result in either a DEBUG message or data errors.
Grade 2	Priority Development	A Priority Development is identified by a users wishing to pay for the modification. The modification must fit in with our current years development goals. (Apply Now) A modification can be as simple as a dialog box change, report, or screen layout. Some modifications take 1 hour others take years. During a Priority Development, a customer is required to go on a Development Service Contract.
Grade 3	Developer Assistance	If one of our independent developers requires a modification for their project we may priorities their requirements.
Grade 4	Wish List	Any other modification request. (Apply Now)

In all cases, there is no time table on development, all code and functionality remains the property of The Matrix Trust, the user is granted a non exclusive licence to operate the product within the terms and conditions of the licensing agreement.
