About Updates
We release a new Update almost every day for three reasons:
  • Fixes to issues that users and our testers identify are released through the update process
  • Wish list modifications are released where users have suggested a modification to improve the system
  • Planned developments

It is a fulltime process to maintain the development cycle and it can keep everyone very busy but the results are worth it.

To take advantage of these updates:

  1. Always have the latest Master Version - Select here to find out how to upgrade to the latest version

  2. Select the "Check for Update" button on the Front Company Menu

Q: When I check for an update nothing happens

Sometimes a firewall product like Zone Alarm can block access to websites it does not have authorisation to link to and the update engine cannot connect to our update server.
This block can also be caused by your antivirus product or other maintenance software.

The solution is to deactivate the products and try again. Most times you can deactivate the product by right clicking on the right hand icon on the task bar and selecting 'Exit' or similar.

If this does not resolve the problem check that your PC has a stable Internet connection and that you are connected to the Internet.

If this fails you will need to consult a computer technician as the issue is not that the update engine is working, it is that the Internet connection with the update server cannot be established.
