1. What does the Systems Administrator do?

Every organisation, irrespective of size or the number of staff, needs to appoint a System Administrator.

The Systems Administrator (SA) is the person responsible for:

  1. Setting up the system
  2. Managing user passwords
  3. Managing support contracts
  4. Ensuring data is securely backed up and safe
  5. Routinely maintaining the system
  6. IT Asset Management

The SA's task is to ensure that the systems are running efficiently. By performing the SA tasks, a business will see an improvement in productivity which will result in an increase in profits.
