1. What does the Systems Administrator do?
Every organisation, irrespective of size or the number of
staff, needs to appoint a System Administrator.
The Systems Administrator (SA) is the person responsible
for:
- Setting up the system
- Managing user passwords
- Managing support contracts
- Ensuring data is securely backed up and safe
- Routinely maintaining the system
- IT Asset Management
The SA's task is to ensure that the systems are running efficiently. By
performing the SA tasks, a business will see an improvement in productivity
which will result in an increase in profits.
