When you connect to SoEasy's managed Services, SoEasy automatically links to a local directory on your C Drive called BANK. This is so we can:


  1. Import your banks download QIF file that you save to your local C:|BANK directory 
  2. Provide a location on your PC for files that are exported from SoEasy to your PC such as reports, spreadsheets, and data files


There are two things to do to set up this feature:


STEP 1. MAKE THE LOCAL BANK DIRECTORY


  1. Open your file management program (My PC or This PC)
  2. Locate the C Drive and follow the steps in the diagram below


  3. Create a new folder at the C:\ called BANK

  4. When complete your directory should look like this:




STEP 2. MAKE SURE SOEASY CAN CONNECT TO YOUR LOCAL C DRIVE


If we sent you a 'Remote Desktop Application', the Local Disk Setting connection will already be set so you will not need to follow these steps.


However if you are using 'Remote Desktop Connection', please check the 'Local Resources' settings:

  1. Left click on the SoEasy icon that connected you to SoEasy's Web Services and select 'Edit'
  2. Select 'Local Resources'
  3. Select 'More'
  4. Make sure 'Local Disc C' is selected and NOTHING ELSE

    In the diagram below, Smart cards is selected. Make sure to deselect it.



IMPORTANT: These connection settings will only take place when you next log on to SoEasy. If you are already logged on to SoEasy, log off and then log back on.
